Long time, No.. Blog??

Yes, yes... I know, the title pretty much sums it right up! I have put off blogging, not for mere months, -  but for YEARS in fact.  The last blog posted was from 2011 and to say ALOT has happened would prrrrrrrrrobably be a ridiculous understatement.  Rather than go into specifics... I think I'll just short form this bad boy, for the purpose of saving time and my sanity :
 Stuff that happened:
  1.  the kids grew a bit - apparently this happens when you provide them with food and water -  who knew? they are awesome and amazing and wonderful and I love them to freaking pieces!
  2.  we moved, not just once, but twice.  we finally landed in our own home - woot woot to being a grown up home owner!
  3.  the man and I made it legal.  it didn't take him long to put a ring on it, however the paperwork took longer us than usual.  no biggie though... I loves him and we made it legal!
  4. we became pet owners to a wonderful pain in the @$$ seal point Siamese cat named Padme
  5. my work has taken off like a wild fire.  weddings, babies, families, events and as of late boudoir!
As the new year approaches, and my website is currently undergoing a massive makeover, I figured it was time to place the blogging hat upon my head once more.  The goal is a once a week blog post, and we'll see how it goes from there.

Cole & Trenton

I don't think there's anything quite like sibling love is there? Watching big brother Cole wrap his arms around his new baby brother Trenton, you just can't help but feel the love he has for him.

He was a trooper through the whole photoshoot, even with a run in with a snake! Cole was brave and sat in the grass.. but always had a watchful eye out... always protecting Mom and little brother :)
The sun shone down, and the breeze was warm. It was a great day!

Sara & Jeremy

Sara and Jeremy

I have known Sara since highschool. Since we both doned the acclaimed CTC red t-shirts, and spent hours behind the cash registers, doing what we deemed as "working" but to the average joe, looked more like a social get together filled with giggles, laughter and a few canadian tire dollars being tossed around.

Sara's family asked me to photograph them last summer, and while I'm fairly certain it was the HOTTEST day on record, we all had a blast. Even then you could tell the spark between these two was strong. They share the most gorgeous little girl together, Miss Marlee, but they're love is much deeper than just that of two people who have a baby together - this pair is connected, deep to the core, and committed to each other. Whether its just holding hands, or an inside joke, or just a look between them, you can tell they are madly in love.

When Sara asked me to photograph their wedding, I was THRILLED. Who wouldn't want to photograph two people who are so much in LOVE?!

Back to Blogging!

Well, it's seems as of late, and by late I mean an entire YEAR, I have avoided, put off, procrastinated, denied the existance of, deemed inpossible, - updating the blog. However, I am vowing here and now to all my loyal friends and fabulous clients that I will become and trusted blogger, and provide regular updates!

My wee business is growing and thriving. I find myself swimming in a sea of editing, but loving every second of it! I mean... who gets to look at gorgeous people all day? Yep! That's right. I DO!

I am not the most tech savy person, so you'll all have to bear with my as I relearn the ropes of posting and creating a blog. I welcome any and all suggestions!

So.. without further adieu.. BACK TO BLOGGING!

The Psihogios Family!!

The Psihogios Family!

I can't even put into words how excited I was when Kristen asked me to shoot her family pictures for her. Her super stinkin cute little baby boy Noah was born in Switzerland and this was our very first meeting!. His little face scrunches up with joy as he smiles, and the mowhawk.. how COOL is this kid?! He rocks that mowhawk better than any adult I've ever seen!

The Murphys!

The Murphys!

Its rare for me to be all the way back home in Kincardine. And let me tell ya, I miss it something fierce!! So any opportunity that comes my way to head back up "north" as we city folk like to call it (ha ha), I'll jump all over it! When Joelene asked me to come and take some family photographs for her, as Sloan was 6 months old, I was 1. absolutely flabergasted that Sloan is so grown up already, and 2. ridiculously excited that I'd be able to go back home, put my toes in the sand and take some photographs of this amazingly gorgeous little girl!

Isn't she just gorgeous?!

Miss Shayleigh

Miss Shayleigh

Now that the warmer weather is upon us, I am SO excited to be able to shoot outdoors all the time, soak in the sun and let the kids I shoot run and just be kids!.

Shayleigh, her mom Jess and her dad Chris and I went to one of my most favourite parks in Guelph, Exhibiton park to get some great pictures of Shayleigh.

The weather was beautiful, and so was Miss Shayleigh!
